I developed my branding and creative expertise working at leading agencies like Chiat/Day, FCB, Saatchi & Saatchi and GMO/Hill Holliday in both San Francisco and Los Angeles. I loved working at agencies. The people are smart, creative and fun.
After working at amazing advertising agencies, I pivoted to consulting. As founder and principal at Brand Fuel, consulting provides the opportunity to work on diverse projects with great clients. Through the years, I have experience developing and implementing strategic business-building programs in industries as diverse as CPG, Financial Services, Technology, and Automotive, among others.
While consulting, another pivot came with the opportunity to go client side. After heading marketing at two different companies, the time was right to turn my creative passion to a project I'd been thinking about for years. Using all my maker skills, I focused on creating a laptop bag that would delight women and make them smile. That meant making a laptop bag for women that was better and unexpectedly beautiful.
The brand and new products were ready to launch in March of 2020, just as the pandemic shut down began. Because we all had more important things on our mind, it was a challenging time to launch a brand for commuting and travel.
